im a 28 female, and i keep going to the er and my doc office because i keep getting bad chest pains and shortness of breath..the doctors have checked me for heart problems including heart attack and insist that it has nothing to do with my heart and they all keep saying i have GERD. Can this really cause these symptoms?? Please help if u can and thanks in advance. If u have a question i might be able to answer just let me know.
I also get pains in my arms and im getting sooo depressed and upset because i keep going to the docs and they are rude to me at the er cause i have been there so much

I have tried Zantac, Prilosec (omeprezole), Aciphex and Protonix, but still have acid reflux EVERY day. I’ve had stomach problems all of my life. I’m allergic to dairy products and I can’t have any citrus foods. For the last couple of months, my stomach has gotten so bad that I can’t eat anything except baby food. I did some research on the internet and found out that I have acid reflux and GERD. I know what foods not to eat but I don’t know what foods to eat. I am so hungry and sick of being sick. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ok if I truly have GERD wouldn’t the same foods trigger it all the time? Like why would it be that if I have the same diet and eat the same amounts wouldn’t it stand to reason that it isn’t my “diet” making me sick? Like for instance I eat a bagel for breakfast(with cream cheese) and water ………. lunch I might have 2 slices white bread with 2 slices ham with no condiments ……….. supper maybe grilled chicken and steamed peas. I can eat this every day but about once a week or so it makes me sick. I just don’t understand at all. I stay away from nuts ….. seeds ……. popcorn …. popcorn makes me sooooooo sick! I don’t eat fried foods and lost aproximately 50lbs in the last year. I have chronic diarrhea …… malabsorption ………. Can someone please explain? Thanks!!

I don’t have any other symptoms but I went to a doctor and he said it wasn’t sinus problems and my dentist said I had no infection in my mouth. Can acid reflux or GERD cause such a terrible taste in the mouth. The only time of the day when I don’t have this is when I first get up. It ususally starts about 3 hours after I have been awake. Any info about this would be very helpful, thanks!

My son was born on jan 18th of this year. He was not suppose to be born until april 18 of this year. Which makes him 3 months premie. He was diagnosed with gerd in the hospital. We are giving him zantac and reglan for this. He is always playing with his tongue, grunting, and turning red. Do you think the nutrimigan formula they sometimes give to colic babies will help him seems they think colic could be undiagnosed gerd? His cousin who is the same age as him but was full term does the same thing with her tongue. Could this be a sign?
