		<description>GERD is when the acid travels back to the tube out into our throat. there are times when we get to taste something in our mouth. gases or vapor from the acid irritates our throat which cuases the  coughing.</description>

		<description>I have GERD and my doctor told me that acid can cause a chronic cough through irritation to the throat and voice box.  Check with your doctor to see if he can run any tests to see if this is the cause of your cough.  Good luck</description>
