You must take a prescribed medication like Nexium, Losec, etc.
If you read the package that Prilosec comes in it will say that it relieves the symptoms not CURES them. The stopping after 14 days is because over the counter drugs are not intended for extended use, but rather quick, fast, relief. That is why we have prescription drugs. Side effects may occur with prolonged use.</description>
