What are some alternatives to Reglan for a 6 month old baby?

my daughter has been on Reglan since birth for GERD and I was thinking about asking the doctor if we can try to take her off of it. I have heard about a lot of nasty side effects from it and I was just wondering if anyone has had a baby with GERD who was treated with something other than Reglan.
