I am going to make an appt. with my GI doc to see about the option of having a fundoplication (GERD surgery) and I’m trying to get a handle on what to expect.
I have tried Zantac, Prilosec (omeprezole), Aciphex and Protonix, but still have acid reflux EVERY day. I’m wondering if there another prescription they will likely want me to try first, or if they’ll likely just go ahead with the tests needed for the surgery? Is there some GERD “miracle drug” I haven’t tried yet??
